Location & Client: 15151 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012 – Aurora City Hall. Project Description: Going Green Contracting partnered with the City of Aurora to install a sophisticated RGB lighting system at Aurora City Hall. This extensive project involved installing 56 high-quality weatherproof RGB lights, replacing and running conduit to exterior junction boxes with built-in Wi-Fi nodes for DMX signals, and setting up a robust control system. We also pulled DMX cable from a splitter to each fixture, connecting it all to a Single Universe Pharos touch panel controller for individual and group light control. Our expertise ensured precise verification of color and wattage output for custom holiday light shows.

Location & Client: 4300 E 9th Ave, Denver, CO 80220 – Broadstone on 9th. Project Description: Over several years, Going Green Contracting has provided comprehensive electrical and lighting services for Broadstone on 9th, a premier multi-family residential community. This included multi-phase retrofits of hundreds of emergency exit signs and bugeye lights, significantly enhancing safety and efficiency. In addition, we brought power and internet to the outdoor cabana, installing custom RGB string lights for remote Wi-Fi control, elevating resident amenities. Beyond these large-scale upgrades, our team provided responsive maintenance and emergency services, ranging from fixing oven wiring and replacing faulty photocells to resolving power outages in the garage and replacing hot tub electrical contactors, ensuring the property’s continuous safety and operational excellence.

  • Phased Emergency Lighting Retrofits: Retrofitted 49 exit signs and 139 bugeye lights (Phase 1); 170 exit signs (including exterior/glass) and 237 bugeye lights (Phase 2); 60 exit signs and 24 bugeye lights (Phase 3).

Project Description: Going Green Contracting partnered with 17 Walnut Apartments to implement a comprehensive electrical and lighting upgrade aimed at modernizing the property and significantly enhancing energy efficiency. Our work involved converting the building’s common areas and 45 individual apartment units to advanced LED lighting systems, resulting in noticeable improvements in illumination quality and substantial energy savings. A key success of this project was securing $16,000 in energy rebates for the client, demonstrating our expertise in maximizing cost-saving opportunities for property owners. Location & Client: 10345 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215 – Mazda McDonald West. Project Description: Going Green Contracting partnered with Mazda McDonald West to provide expert photometric lighting design and supply for their dealership. We created two distinct photometric designs (one with SLP16 series fixtures and another with SLP22 series fixtures), detailing pole locations and head configurations, including single, double, triple, and quad heads, for optimal light layout across the expansive outdoor area. Our analysis included calculation summaries showing average, maximum, and minimum illumination levels for the dealership and front row areas. We then supplied 103 high-quality area pole light heads (e.g., SLP16175LEDSCR4KU, SLP22230LEDSCL4KU) to the contracted installer, ensuring a perfectly illuminated environment for vehicle display, customer Browse, and overall safety. This project highlights our authoritativeness in delivering precise and effective commercial lighting solutions.
